There was nobody quite like Chocko, he had 100% belief his way was the right way.
Sometimes he was spot on other times it ended bad.
People liked him for his working class no frills approach.
He played the game hard and coached the same way.
I don’t agree with all he done but he was the real deal not like these politically correct Puffer jacket jack offs
Spot on summary.

That's how it is with true innovators in any field of business not just sport. And why they need a quality and strong 2IC to keep them in bounds. It's what Choko needed to help shoulder the publicity burden imho. The poor bastard was fighting both on and off field battles and he needed someone to fight the off field battles for him. 'Mentoring' is the BS word of management theory iirc.

There's a growing trend in business towards hiring leadership teams as a pair (selected by the hirer not by the appointees )- able to cover each others weaknesses while allowing their strengths to be fully utilised . Reckon that's where AFL club leadership needs to go if it isn't already.

Being a Freo supporter has to be one of the toughest gigs in footy, in close to 30 years in the comp they have never won anything worth bragging about, there record in local derbies is beyond awful, and they once again lost a game in Melbourne against fairly ordinary opposition that they should have won.

We just have to win every week now. The rest takes care of itself. One week at a time…..
Very true was just trying to find a way of making top four if we drop one of the last three.
I reckon we will win the next two, contrary to belief I’m more worried about the Freo in Perth game than the Crows.

And they wear purple.

This week, due to no vic teams in the top 4, I reckon us and Sydney and one of Brissy or GWS more GWS will get the Bret Hart Montreal screw job treatment from the umps.
