COLLINGWOOD coach Craig McRae was left seething by the decision not to award Daniel McStay a critical 50m penalty in the dying stages against Sydney, after his side had let a match-winning lead slip at the SCG.Still reeling from the non-call post-match, the Magpies coach said "it would have been paid" had it been at the MCG, while he described the number of insufficient intent calls in the game as "a bit of a circus".
So is McRae admitting that Collingwood get preferential treatment at the MCG

Thoughts about McRae on the Collingwood board.
He plays his favorite small forward all the time who is useless ( Schultz).
To slow to make changes.
Goes to defense in the last qtr trying to hold a lead.
Remind you of anyone?😂
And before you say at least he’s won a flag, the Collingwood supporters have forgotten that like it was 100 years ago.
Even more funny how the umpires favored Sydney all night as they normally do 😂
Comedy Gold this mob.

At whose expense?
I honestly can’t see who drops out.
You can’t say Carlton, even if hawks beat them today % won’t put them in and Carlton have two easy games to play ,Eagles and Saints.
Only wild chance would be GWS losing all 3.

Why can't you say Carlton? If they win today they're equal points, and it'll bring them slightly closer in percentage.

Carlton might have the Eagles and saints, but hawthorn have even easier games against Norf and shitmond. They could win both by 10 goals plus.

Hawks are exactly 8% behind now, even if they win today and that’s not going to be easy, they are still looking at a big % gap.
Yes they could win there last two by 10 goals but so could Carlton easily do that also.
Hawks best chance is GWS losing all there games, Brisbane,Freo and Dogs.
Either way we have a better chance of winning the flag than Hawthorn have making the 8.

Yeah when you put it like that it is gonna be tough. A lot could go wrong for sides in 3 games though.

It's so hard being a Victorian team in the AFL.

It's a genuine raffle with what freekicks the umpires give, no one knows what's going to be paid.

I reckon the teams in the 8 are now set. Based on percentages, form and opposition remaining, I can't see any current top 8 team falling out, unless Hawthorn absolutely obliterate Carlton tomorrow which I doubt. I have all top 8 teams winning at least 2 of their last 3 games with the exception of GWS who have the toughest run, but they are 2 games and percentage inside the 8 and won't drop out.

It's not beyond the realm of possibilities that the Dogs drop out if they lose to the Crows this week and GWS in the last round.
Depends which Adelaide shows up and if the Dogs have ptsd from their last game at AO.
