The instant defence from BT: “looked like more a brushing motion”

The halftime defence from Jon Ralph: “looks bad in slow-mo but okay in real time”

The halftime defence from Garry Lyon: “looks like he expected shoulder to shoulder contact but Moore went to ground”

Not one utterance of “if you choose to bump and get them in the head”.

Fantastic, real time, double-standard horsesh¡ttery.
As predictable as sunrise.

Should be 5 weeks or more. AFL set a further precedent this week.
Except there is no concept of precedent in the AFL. They just make it up as they go to suit their current agenda.

****ing hell the mental gymnastics I’m seeing here are crazy, where was this last week????

The Zapruder-film roundtable on Fox Footy during the lightning break actually made some solid points both ways.

But yes, would love to know where all this for-and-against debate and insight regarding split seconds and how both players contributed to it was last week, when Gerard Healy spent the better part of an hour booking Dan Houston a first class ticket to The Hague.

Yes so true. But want a horribly corrupt organisation is the AFL.

Whately was just about suggesting it would be better for all concerned if he did the honourable thing and took a cyanide tablet.

Rankine was convulsing on the ground!
