Yep, and we would kill for Thilthorpe or Dawson.
Both of these narratives are correct, and not mutually exclusive.I feel like you've all gone from years of Slobbo is a drunken baffoon to BLOODY GONNA MISS HIM!!
I agree, but this is the lowest bar to clear in the history of low bars.Robbo was always the better one of the AFL360 duo, by a fair margin too.
Whateley is pretty good at calling games but he is bloody awful on a footy show, his opinions are always holier than thou. He has a very high opinion of himself and loves sitting up on his high horse giving lectures to the great unwashed football folk and thinks that every home viewer is captivated by his pearls of wisdom.I agree, but this is the lowest bar to clear in the history of low bars.
As entertainment, they were barely worth watching in the days before all the cheap streaming services, youtube, twitch etc.How anyone can watch any of that shit is beyond me.
There’s not a single footy show worth watching.
Not one.

As informed and insightful discussion on games and the football industry in general, they are neither insightful or informing us, 99% of the time, of anything that can't be found on the AFL website, any news site or posted here on BigFooty days earlier.
Those in the media are all scared of biting the hand that feeds them, so they toe the company line by and large. Then add in they are 90%+ Victorian based, with token coverage of other teams. Then those outside Victoria are fluffers for their local sides, and rarely ask challenging questions of them, or call out (with facts) the Victorian bias in all areas of the competition.
So why would anyone inflict them, on themselves? Unless they are masochistic.
Agree with all of what you said. But be careful about having an opinion which differs from one or two on this board or you will get checked again.I guess they gave up nothing for Cumming and not much for ANB but they are strange recruits for a side that has spent the last 7 seasons out of the 8 and were bottom 4 last year. I see those type of recruits as top ups ideally for teams around the mark, not rebuilding teams. Especially in an off season where the draft was considered so strong, they probably should've attacked the draft harder. Their midfield is still much weaker than the top 4-6 sides.
They also missed a trick by not getting Luko and not giving tex the tap on the shoulder. Fogarty and Thilthorpe look good and Luko would've complemented that set up nicely. Time will tell but i think Tex is cooked.
Peatling is probably their best recruit because he is 24 and probably has the most scope for improvement.
First Crack is the closest I've seen to actual analysis. As entertainment, they were barely worth watching in the days before all the cheap streaming services, youtube, twitch etc.

Rowe is probably Robbos replacement"Is Stephen Rowe an imbecile?" is my favourite Robbo moment, albeit a clearly rhetorical question.
Did you leave liver off the end of this sentence?Rowe is probably Robbos replacement
