Got back into the game, but can’t afford any more fade outs now. Good teams beat opponents like Carlton. Need to stop f**king around with the ruck division. Hayes would have had more hit outs and a similar amount of disposals to Lycett at this point of the game.

Fair few alarm bells especially early.

Rozee and Butters slow to insert themselves in the game. Butters yet again until that goal.

Marshall outmarked so easily twice. Then Farrell, Lord and Marshall with shanked kicks for goal. Unfathomable to have two of those three shank so badly from straight forward set shots.

Bergman with a clangerfest in the opening minute and then loses Silvagni in the goal square twice.

Boak busy but going to ground almost purposefully. A sign of ageing legs perhaps.

Nothing meaningful from Duursma or Burgoyne and nothing at all from Mead.

Could not have started much worse.

And no less competitive around the ground. De Koning did as he pleased with him.

Story of that quarter was the ability to find a heck of a lot of the ball, but to absolutely waste it. The kicking was insanely poor, including some of those set shots. Then they were able to rebound with insane pace, we left them to run in waves.

There was supposed to be insane pressure on us, but it doesn't feel high pressure at all. It feels like they are sitting back, just focusing on defending our F50, then looking to hit us hard on counter.

We need to be better at slowing them and using it better.

Harry McKay will grab us by the throat in the next three quarters

Who is Harry McKay playing for or against?
