Watching Freo have their way with us..... we seriously need to get a coach (and coaching staff) who can set us up properly. Our clearance set up is a shambles, our game plan consists of kicking to 3 on 1's with Brett Ebert and our defensive structure is non existent. Our players do not work for each other, gut running to create space is a rare occurrence, as is an effective shepherd. Add to that we have the skill level of an under 5 girls team.

Sure we have some injuries, but that doesnt excuse the fact that we looked disinterested for most of the first half. Seriously, this is almost the last straw for me, changes need to happen this off season or we won't have a club in 5 years

Pathetic across the entire coaching and playing staff.

Not a single positive... not one. Yes, some players have been "less pathetic" than others, but lets not sugar coat it. And it all started from 2 classic pieces of play that brought about our 1 single classic mindset:

- after some good short disposals D Stewart marks 35m out dead in front.... and because a wet tissue had more strenght than his mind... He misses. Team confidence knock #1.
- after some tense defensive pressure, Chaplin ends up with ball and under no pressure he kicks 10m behind the leading Port player and straight in to the arms of an opponent, who kicks the goal. Team confidence knock #2.

We spend the rest of the game running around confused like scared chooks, reacting to Freo's attack on the ball, 2nd guessing ouselves and trying to work over Ballentyne(why i don't know... He's a hack). So our classic trait of no confidence is on display for 2quarters... and left to the coaching staff to reinstill for a quarter and a half so we can come away with a competitive loss and state we're improving.

Chaplin, Trengove and Carlile efforts today justify that we definitely SHOULD be targetting KPDs this October via trade or draft. And where's Boydman's flamming of Wingard again taking on opponents and getting pinged HTB?? Jacob's ain't alone in his brain farts.

Entire team = pathetic.
