I dont care...

I really dont...

Its not like we are much worse team that got within 8 points...thats honourable...

We are an equal team that can beat them and should of beaten them given our squandered chances and stupid momentum killers..

I want to give you a job as my sales manager

We don't get votes often in losses. He'll get the 1 if lucky. If he'd kicked straight earlier we'd have won and he'd have the 3. Still, except for Schulz I woudn't want to back any of our players in a goal kicking contest. Poor Butcher must cry watching our last 2 months of poor kicking and wonder why he's scape goated, when our side is currently littered with players handing out 11 point turnarounds like lollies.

Butcher is quite simple.

He chokes.

He only has himself to blame for not being out there.

But hanging shit on ken, the players and everyone else when things arent working out is quite pathetic. Just as much as giving in at 3qtr time when our motto states nevergiveup.

The players can only give in if they have supporters who will make excuses for them.

Hearing how Freo were in the gf last year, how young we are, etc, are excuses.

The day you stop making and accepting excuses is when you are ready to win a Premiership

Bloody oath, boydy.
We shouldn't accept finishing fifth after what we produced in the first half of the year. But we're not out of it yet.
First up, focus on a big effort next week.

For sure! I want us to win the flag.

I expect us to win next week.

I expect us to play to our skill and ability the week after

I expect good coaching.

Of course we aren't our of it.

But for those who say we aren't ready..yet, or others are better. Because they are older, or have more games, or its in their home ground.

Man, in wars they used to shoot people who said that kind of cancerous stuff.

Every good soldier had an arseh*le drill seargant

I agree that they're mediocre and we should've beaten them, but the last 2 weeks they've had significant injuries. Pendlebury, Beams and Cloke would've got them over the Brions, and the GWS result wouldn't have been that close with those players too.

Be positive, we're young and volatile and we have our faults, I understand the anger of passing up the opportunities presented by the 2014 season, but think of the opportunities of our future; this season and the 5+ years to come.

There is no such thing as the future

We all live in the present

Today is absolutely no different than if it were 3 years time

We had it. We blew it

We need to fix whatever it is So it never happens again

Bad luck guys,
only popped in to ask does ricciuto call a lot of your games? Negative niggling swipes against your team throughout , must drive you crazy. Good luck next week

Na, it's cool. We understand his disability so can pat him on the head.

Maybe future medical breakthroughs will help with the brain damage

It was weird today because normally he praises our running, but maybe only because we won those games he commentated.
Why do you think he was brought onto the Camries board? It wasn't for his business acumen. He was willing to praise us and criticise the bovines. The old boys club couldn't allow the one Crows person in the media respected by all their supporter base enough they'd likely believe over the spin from West lakes telling home truths. Now he's got to run the bag Port no matter how right/good, praise Adelaide no matter how bad/stupid line. Chapman, Sando and Not So can sleep peacefully at night again knowing Mavis and Beryl won't attack them with their walking frames.

I have a marketing degree and I am a qualified electrician...its a sought after rare combo...you better pay well

Struth. That is rare. Nice one.

5 years ago I was paying 27 year olds $225k (Business development managers)

Go ask any broker and he'll tell you he's always 3 bad pay periods away from being shown the door, unemployed, selling the house and taking his kids out of private school.

It's a bitch, I'm sure they don't sleep at night, but blow me down it keeps you hungry.

There is no such thing as "next year" . You live to get a trade or tag today. There is only today. Today is all that matters.

Next year might as well be another lifetime away

There will be some new kid asswipe turdbag there next year.

The day I start asking people to accept my underperformance this year and to start thinking about how good I'll be next year is the day I'm on the street with a cardboard box

Agree with the first part but I'm not sure about the second.

Yes we overachieved, however the dream run gave us an opportunity that we didn't take.

Yes we have done well, yes we are improving but we also need to take opportunities when they come. Essendon were expected to dominate in the 90s because if their young list but didn't. Lucky for them they got a premiership before they were "expected" to get one.

I agree with all of that. We do seem to have passed up a chance (whether that perception echo can't be determined until the end I our finals run). We should have capitalised on it.

Lost on that one.
Who is saying Hinkley should be sacked?

Thats how it is....people get themselves into s*** by banking on the future...

Idiots.. .

Ive and others have been saying it for weeks now , how can anyone justify giving Polec , Ebert , Monfries games on these crap performances week in week out , especially Ebert ?. This sort of gold pass bs is what led us down the slippery slope a few years back , PLEASE KH don't let this kind of rubbish creep into our club again !.

Its not a gold pass system at all, its development.
I'd suggest its a combination of
- Which person in the $ANFL is playing to the standard where they are demanding selection in the spot of the above mentioned players
- Does Ken believe that the above mentioned players will develop better in the $ANFL if they are dropped - or back his coaches to develop their weaknesses over time in the AFL.

There are no quick fixes, success takes time and effort.

True , regards younger and inexpierienced players , but Guss and Brad ? , not exactly rookies , and can you honestly see Ebert developing a much needed defensive side to his game ? , something that Kenny publicly demanded of all.

Brad's hard running back to help in the defensive 50, or to create congestion, has been one aspect of his game that I have been very impressed with.

the reality is we are good enough, with current form i would be more than confident of at least making a prelim had we finished top 4, we can and do mix it with all of them. lets not be happy with where we are at. lets not claim minor improvement and say thats good enough. there are 5 genuinely great sides that are a real chance of the flag. only one side has constantly blown opportunities, and guess who the one side to miss out on a top 4 spot is. the same players fail when real pressure in cut throat games. sure we will learn, but there are absolutely no guarantees we will be back up the top next year.

The current four top sides have many players who are at their peak. This may be their last chance to grasp the ultimate prize. Let them now feel the real pressure of finals football. If we can put an end to Richmond's streak next week, I say it's 'game on' for us.

Sure he covers a lot of ground ,but what does he do when he gets there ? his weak efforts at tackling or non efforts at spoiling really get me and as for creating congestion , well that's a new one ! , didn't know ya get brownie points for just being there ! , how often has his direct opponent outplayed or been of more value to the opposition than he has been for us ?, id say plenty of times.
