Well what a shitshow that was. Literally every moment was terrible, except for a few we happened to string together to generate scores totally against the tide.

Sometimes it is good when you're playing shit and behind, because it means you have a lot more improvement to go than the oppo, and Melb are playing a blinder. However it really feels like Melbourne are on and we haven't come with the right mindset at all. Butters in particular with his terrible disposals tonight.

Back to normal programming.

Let's see how they respond. Melbourne won't keep up this pressure all game, but they're showing how to stop Port getting their game going.

For all the shit Todd copped lately and the crap about how bad we were going to be with him coming in he’s been excellent. Easily the best kf on the ground right now.
He has been good. He's gotten involved, despite some bad disposal, but his good contested mark I50 was the key bit we need to see more of.

Let Connor Rozee and Ollie Wines cook.

Everyone says he struggles to have an influence and then he has an 8 touch, 3 inside 50, 1 contested mark first quarter and it'll still never be enough for some people.

When he has Georgiades inside 50 to kick to he'll be banking goal assists like nobody's business.
