Carlton navy blue and Richmond black don't clash. Melbourne navy blue and Port Adelaide black are completely different and clearly clash. No brainer for the (v)afl

Absolutely pumped with that half.

First quarter was a solid effort but the clearances and our skills killed us.

That second though was great footy all around. The only weakness we are showing is on the counter because we are playing such attacking footy, and after losing clearances where they seem to be able to string a fee easy touches together every time. Apart from that we seem to be the better team around the ground.

Credit must go to the coaches, the ball movement around the ground, and the attacking running patterns look spot on. We do look like we're running them ragged.

Our skills aren't going to change overnight, but if they were better I'd be extremely confident of a win here, unfortunately with the way they are we never know how it'll turn out, but hey if we keep this up I'll be very happy.

Good quarter. We've clearly done a lot of work on transitioning the ball quickly from half back to half forward. What happens after that is still random chance though, we don't appear to have much system in the forward 50.

Great to see us taking the game on and great to see the kids playing with confidence and authority. I think Melbourne will steady in front of their home crowd but it's a good sign that we've been able to compete strongly against a legitimate premiership contender.

The big highlight for me was seeing Westy kick a set shot goal from about 30 out

They have received every half free kick and a few that should have gone to us. We have had nothing go our way from the umps except those consecutive marking infringements to Marshall and Ryder.

What's even funnier about this is that there was more criticism and yelling in the commentary box for those two decisions and the free to Rocky in the middle than all 18 Dee frees put together
