This game plan appears fantastic for him, but he still makes far too many howlers. Have still screamed his name in vein 3-4 times today, and that's in a good game.
The comments in the match feed on afl.com always bung on about the differential in this stat and that stat, but never in the fee kicks. Every other stat matters except frees.

SPP's work rate and thirst for the contest is exceptional. I also like that he backs himself in. Just needs that extra ounce of composure.
C'mon, it's Max Gawn's 100th. Not sure if there are any other milestones though.

Liking Burton's steady play down back, Lycett doing the negating job on Gawn beautifully and having some positive play. 3 draftees big second quarter after being star struck a bit in first quarter and Drew did a few good things after about 10 minute mark of 2nd quarter.
Still look shakey down back apart from Burton. Why isn't Houston using a lot of that extra 10 metres on the kick outs??
More good signs than bad but wasted ball inside 50 thst quarter especially SPP.
4.4 from 19 inside 50's that quarter meant we wasted opportunities to go in 3 or 4 goals up.

Excellent point. Can't think of any more significant either honestly. Though I do have to say, there was lots of shots of Robbie Gray earlier. Must have been an error.
