We did. We dominated everywhere after quarter time except where it mattered most, the scoreboard. We kicked poorly, we slipped over, we had more clangers.

Sydney had their A-game at a ground we do poorly at and we barely had a C grade game yet almost game away with the points, despite 1 down from almost the go. Of course I'd rather we won, but this game affirms we most certainly are a real flag chance this year if we do click. IF IF IF.

Not concerned with how our defence played Buddy.

He has class days where he doesn't lay a tackle, or have any pressure acts. Today, he forced himself on the match with aggression, and still had that class - that's the most dangerous Buddy you can get.

i do recall him getting a holding the ball then slotting it from 50.
he is a gun when he is on and geez he was on in the second half today.

Pittard must be dropped. I remember Hinkley saying he can put up with errors but he has to defend. He didn't do that. He can go. It's becoming a joke.

He gets found out like he did today against good teams. Mitchell too I think.

Polec would have made a difference, and I'd rather O'Shea than Pittard, always have, always will.

But it seems to me Pittard is a favourite of Hinkley due to him always being selected yet everytime i watch him i see him as a really poor player. Your backline is full of young guys and have all shown they stand up to pressure yet Pittard seems to always show he cant.

We should have pressured them more on kick-ins. In the last quarter after we had kicked a behind they kicked in and it went along the ground. Their bloke picked it up first time but a bit of pressure could have caused a turnover inside our 50. I think they may have run that one down for Buddy to kick his long goal.

Would have thought Boak would have taken the shot that he passed off to Broadbent.
