Whoever was in row BB of section 420 tonight, absolute dog act going to your dad to get security involved for a second time when there was absolutely no need.

Whilst I wasn't involved in the incident I saw first hand what had happened and you yourself were lucky you didn't get kicked out as well.

Running to daddy is only going to get you so far in life..

On tonight's performance, and the cumulative evidence of the season, there is no way that Ollie Wines can wear the #1 next year.

Lacks any inspirational qualities. Does not influence games when they are in the balance. Has a major kicking deficiency. Doesn't stand up in the big moments. Cannot stick a tackle.
Rozee has to be captain

Honestly, I never miss home games, and certainly never missed a home final. However I really feel like there's just no point in attending next week. If we win then woop-dee-doo. It means nothing, we aren't going anywhere. Just feels so pointless.

I guess the only reason you go is because if we win and then fluke something at the G, you want to be part of the ride. The reality is though it just isn't happening. Its incredibly predictable. We have ZERO chance against Collingwood at the G.

Sat thru' the game with my wife reading beside me and at FT I said well that was awful and she said i'm really impressed

no shouting swearing etc. Yeah well I don't really care anymore. The Port I grew up with has been hijacked by people

who wouldn't have lasted 5mins in the old days.

2 more years peeps, 13 in a row and best list he's had. Finals are scary

Brisbane has exposed all our weaknesses today, we are a really poor defensive team. Unfortunately teams like that don’t win premierships

Rav, BZF and Grundy aren’t gunna fix that. This is a system issue unfortunately, it’s the game plan. Hinkley needs to reinvent this team next year into a defensive mindset.

But we all know that won’t happen, Hinkley has had the same game plan for 10 years, forward pressure, keep it in the forward half, and sure it’s a gameplan that will get you to 4th-10th but it won’t win you a premiership

I'm sick of the loser talk press conferences. Keep the **** coach out of the media.

You know we're going to turn in half a performance when the **** coach gives them all a bloody excuse before a ball is bounced.

Why do we even have a coach referencing fear in any capacity before any game, let alone finals (where we’re infamously poor)?

And a considerable chunk of our fanbase absolutely bends over backwards to lionise this guy.

It’s genuinely bonkers.

Hinkley doesn’t believe in practising set shots. He thinks it’s just all mental. Meanwhile, players continue to make basic mistakes with set shots, such as going too close to the man on the mark. We must be the woust set as shot side in the comp, and it regularly costs us important games, and this will continue as long as we’re stuck with the brilliant mind of Ken Hinkley.
It was clearly mental tonight with Marshall.

Losing this week was a certainty

I’m confident we can win next week and even upset the pies at the G

Fingers crossed

It's ok, 9 11 anniversary this week, surely we can take inspiration from that.

al Qaeda did work together for a long time to bring about a singular outcome.
It's a small story but so inspirational.

Agreed, Wines has always had a major kicking deficiency which is no doubt why he tends to handball more than he kicks, and I can't recall the last time he influenced a game or showed any of the inspirational qualities required to be captain.

It's time to look outside the current leadership group for the role, but I won't be holding my breath waiting for kern and co to make the tough decisions.

It was always going to be a difficult game to win but not impossible. What makes it impossible is to have the composure to kick straight in critical games like these “couToddGh”. Not the first time… I rate our chances more to beat GWS than I did before this game.
