I genuinely hope we lose next week and avoid the embarrassment of getting smacked at the G in the prelim.

Surely losing at home next week and going out in straight sets is more embarassing than losing an away prelim? I don’t understand this train of thought.

The amount of confidence players like Duursma that just go into a hole in finals is shocking

The coach can’t even get through a press conference about wwII without losing his cool, what else could you expect?
The whole club reminds me of business people who just do everything they can to not be exposed as useless, no actual substance.

In the first half Port missed at least six gettable set shots. If those are scored the match could be quite different if scoreboard pressure is applied. But finals are scary so obviously they would never score regulation set shots

Hinkley doesn’t believe in practising set shots. He thinks it’s just all mental. Meanwhile, players continue to make basic mistakes with set shots, such as going too close to the man on the mark. We must be the woust set as shot side in the comp, and it regularly costs us important games, and this will continue as long as we’re stuck with the brilliant mind of Ken Hinkley.

Tonight confirms that I won't be renewing my membership next year - it's not worth it.

I got a membership email yesterday. I will be telling the club to **** off on Monday. This will be the second year I won’t be buying into the crap.

Finlayson last 9 weeks have been terrible, has really let himself down. Poor both offensively and defensively.

Marshall not standing up in big moments again

Duursma, McEntee, DBJ are not AFL standard

Wines and Boak look like old men, embarrassing

Midfield got destroyed.

Overall the only positives were Lord, Drew and maybe Bergman.

Such a bad game. Poorly coached might I add. No plan B as always.

In our loses we have an average losing margin of 37 points this year. Pathetic

I'm blown away by the decline of Wines (which seems to have largely gone unnoticed by the media). Looks like he is finished.

McEntee is not an AFL footballer. I like Duursma but after that I'm not sure I want him at Kardinia Park.

Get a chance to reset next week, still a treat to watch Rozee and Butters do their thing.

IF you wonder why the sack Ken thread is about 5000 pages long, its because he continues with players who arn't AFL footballers and plays teams which are never quite good enough, and wonders why. Yeah, Duursma's game was woeful. And wines too

We didn't because we're mentally weak. A weakness born of a weak coach in a weak club that lives for mediocrity.

Even if we did, we were getting hammered. The 82% efficiency of I50s to score was not sustainable, it was a fluke, we were smashed everywhere all night and the scoreline may have taken a while to spread out, but the final result was pretty much a fair reflection on where the game was all night.

He’s not good enough to be the main inside mid, so trade him

I can accept a low possession game (sometimes) but I can’t accept our #### captain laying one tackle.

Duursma will never be more than a c-grade battler. Fumbly, poorly skilled, zero hurt factor.

Finlayson is only useful if the ball is delivered perfdctly to him on a lead. If it isn’t he cant mark. Under pressure he cant mark. In packs he cant mark. Under percieved pressure, nope. Someone looks at him? Cant mark. He isnt a finals footballer.

Wines didn't touch a ball all preseason, in fact he barely ran until the first game. Had a serious knee problem hamper him all preseason. No doubt he's struggling, but undoubtedly that had a huge part in his form and then being pushed out of the middle.

We're also so banged up and I don't believe we're doing much physical training to keep us sharp.
