For such a dedicated trainer it’s astonishing that he doesn’t seem to have put any work into his kicking mechanics.

ive said for years that the increase in training in the professional era has been running / physical based and despite modern footballers being more professional the extra x amount of hours they spend on their work they probably spend less time with a football in their hands than past players.

the increase in physical / athletic training and game study has certainly eaten into skills training imo.
