Port vs Melbourne

its hard to see port lose to melbourne if they went man on man, and how the hell do they get thrashed in the middle when they wiped a good midfield last week

He has to be the most reluctant defender ever. He must be given a chance to save his career up forward.

I questioned elsewhere the practice of bringing him straight back in and still do.

Broadbent surely must get a game now.

We had an absolute armchair ride in the ruck last week. It was too easy. Maybe if Melbourne had rucked Brad Green.

In the sanfl you mean. I think a few gold card holders need a wake up call. pettigrew wasnt the only passenger out there today though.

I keep harking on it but our skills are so bad. They stink. They are absoloutely rotten. We are lucky to hit three targets in a row.

Kane cornes skills were actually quite good today in comparison to the others and ebert wasnt too bad. We must have the slowest forward line in the afl. lade, tredders, westhoff, ebert, gray arent race horses.

What does everybody think of Pearce?
Tagged out of the game too easily, too weak, had a few chances in the 3rd and 4th to kick goals or give the ball off but instead threw the ball onto his foot in hope whilst closing his eyes.

Trade.

Looking forward to the press conference. What are the odds of Williams bringing up our record against Melbourne at the MCG?

He can't even trot out Pete B's clearances. =0

Did you even watch the game or do you just have an agenda? Pearce is the least of our worries out of that performance.

Everyones frustrated with Pearce, he's good, he's bad, he's bad, he's bad, he's good, he's bad. We shouldnt be relying on one wingman to win us the game every week.

I hate to bag individual players, but every time we got back into the game, Pettigrew was isolated and Melbourne kicked goals.

Tredders and Westhoff had no presence, but this was mainly due to terrible mid-field disposal.

I didn't think that Broadbent or any other rookies would get a chance this season, but PB and JC must make way for them now, or else the club are not serious.

Am not impressed that you did not include Josh Carr in the list above...Why Not???

Because he wasn't that bad. He didn't do a lot but what he did was generally good, he was a hell of a lot better than guys like Burgoyne.
