Mixed first half.

The offence was great.

The midfield and stoppage work good and at times bad.

The defence a worry. Lienert going off may have helped us. He was a deadset liability until injured. It looked to me like his absence focused the other defenders to pull their fingers out. Houston, Bonner and DBJ lifted.

There is no doubt that there is room in this team for Hartlett and Broadbent in defence.

This has probably been asked and answered but someone please humour me and offer a plausible explanation. Why are we wearing our clash strip at Alberton? We jump up and down for a game at Alberton and we finally get one we wear away strip.

This game has been a bit yuck, but the positives are:

- we seem capable of scoring heavily; and
- if not for that 10-15min lapse in the first quarter, North wouldn't have done much on the scoreboard.

We're capable, but we just need to be consistent.
