“Gavin Wanganeen in the house wearing the Port Adelaide colours today”

- Brenton Speed

Wait you mean he's not Essendon aligned? Laughable.

It’s our pre-season jumper. The grey jumper is our away/clash now

Thanks Ross, that is yet another stupid decision by those running the club. Alberton is our spiritual home yet we treat it like any other ground. On that score I have absolutely no confidence in the current admin holding out for the PB in our 150 year anniversary.

Back to the game...

6-6-6 is killing Burton. He was the offensive spare man for the Hawks. Now he has no place. Hawthorn thought logically about this. This is why we were trying Burton in the middle at times.

Add me to the list of those disappointed with Burton. If this is what he's like when he supposedly has a point to prove due to being traded, I'd hate to see him normally. Hopefully he just needs time to settle in and find form. Needs to lift his intensity.

Loved that 2nd term, so much better.

Lycett had a great quarter. Butters looks great. Rocky showing some good signs. Drew found some uncontested marks which is great as that's the part he needs to work on. Marshall getting more and more involved. Duursma other than a massive clanger had a far better quarter.

Would like to see Ebert start sticking these marks up forward.

Does anyone know what the SPP free on the wing was for??? Was an awesome effort then a random free was plucked out.

I reckon Broadbent could replace Burton. Adds a bit of leadership down back too.
This statement "adds a bit of leadership down back" makes me embarrassed for our club, we just elected a co captain who is in our defence, yet it takes a guy wh on hasn't played in over 12 months to add leadership

Plan A looks like win the ball forward from CB and score or lock it in.

We're pressing way more inside 50 and the forward half compared to last year.

Not quite the same as 2017 but the pressure is definitely there.

Bit too leaky if we don't win the ball forward and if they get through the pressure.

Below the knees. Because you know, an already prostrate SPP being run into by the North player who was swanning in means it was SPPs fault.

This game has been a bit yuck, but the positives are:

- we seem capable of scoring heavily; and
- if not for that 10-15min lapse in the first quarter, North wouldn't have done much on the scoreboard.

We're capable, but we just need to be consistent.

The minute a side gets a run-on like that against us in the real stuff though...

His ultimate destiny is as a medium forward you’d think.

Jonas was never captain material. Said it all along. Happy to be proven wrong.
