We're not going to trade Mackay for a slight first round pick upgrade.

If we're trading him, it's for a 2016 (or later) pick, probably second round, similar to what West Coast got for Matt Rosa
second rd pick in 2016 would be a great get

I agree that this could also be an option, but how can you be so sure we wouldn't upgrade one of the first rounders? Maybe we think there's a clear top 7 (excluding academy picks) in the draft and this would ensure we get one of them?

Is this the final resting place for pick 28? Has there been a better traveled pick this season?

So it's gone Geelong, Adelaide, Carlton, GWS, Collingwood. Not a bad effort. You'd probably struggle to find a pick that has been traded more in any previous trading periods, let alone this one.

You could end up with 4 teams cursing their trade choices if Collingwood ends up with a gun with that pick. Then again, the other 4 clubs may not have picked the same player at 28 if they had the choice.

That's the only reason I can think we'd upgrade. If we're not getting a targeted player at 9, or we'll miss our second target between 9 and 13

Do you like Curnow as a midfielder?
Iam not recruiting him as a key forward .....suggestion today that Cornow will be taken likely in top 5 of the draft ....Essendon / Melbourne not recruiting him as a 191cm KPF
