Is the GABBA not a cricket ground also? They didn't have an issue with it probably because their colours are maroon & gold.

It's not that much a ridiculous question to ask when the Swans use the ground for over 7 months of the year.

Also considering how much money the Swans bring in as opposed to everyone else that uses the ground.

I mean, Ridley, Darcy, Ryan, and Stewart are all in that draft, all who I would trade for Florent atm without blinking.

I back Florent and think he'll go well, but there's no denying how good some of the blokes are from that draft.

That being said, this is 90% hindsight.

Probably would take Darcy and Ridley with my picks if I had to choose.

Agree it's all hindsight, I just thought it was a fun hypothetical because it's a really good draft.
I wanted Simpkin or English at the time with who was available in that range and I don't think my position has changed yet.

Some of the later picks like the ones you mentioned are great in hindsight though.
I'm pretty sure I never saw anything of Ridley and now he is one of my favourite defenders.

SEN on Tues morning were discussing whether each State should name a team, even if they never play. Personally I think it is a great idea. In the discussion Lyon and Watson both highlighted what it would mean to current young players who did not grow up with State of Origin footy.
