Long way down the line - but we may actually be the beneficiaries of the AFL's amateurish approach to the fixture. If Richmond and the Bulldogs both win their games in r23 (Sat 7:30 and Sun 1:10 respectively), the Saints could likely be out of the finals race by the time our game starts. Would mean they'd have nothing to play for, as opposed to fighting tooth and nail for a finals spot.

I got to thinking the other day about players we've taken from other clubs. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe we've taken a player from either of the new clubs (not surprising.)

Have we traded with the Suns? I can't ever recall getting a player from them. Only GWS player was Harry but since he was an academy player they chose not to select that doesn't count. So yeah, Suns & GWS the only two.
