FFS..
making jokes at the expense of others is pathetic and terrible humour.. its all you f**king do. Please stop

FFS. He is not the only person making a version of this joke. Yet you are going out of your way to target only this poster and none of the others who make the same joke, including one made in response. Please stop with your inconsistent nonsense.

A new Melbourne office is opening in February 2025 across from South Melbourne market. It is going to have a merchandise store which I'm happy about as I need to buy new merchandise.

Excellent. Close to the dim sim stall as well.

Players who joined the club for the 2020 season:

Chad Warner
Kaiden Brand
Dylan Stephens
Sam Gray
Will Gould
Lewis Taylor
Barry O'Connor
Elijah Taylor
Brady Rowles

Players still on the books for the 2025 season:

The Chad.

Ouch. What an off-season of recruiting that was. None of them were even on the books for the 2024 season.

EDIT: All within four years. Double ouch!

Of those I believe we thought Warner, Stephens, Gould and Taylor (ie the ND) could end up best 22. O'Connor was a swing and not too bad.
The failure of Stephens and Gould to develop is sad. Taylor was a poor, broken person.
The others were depth, the best we could afford $wise to fill a need, so not big expectations.

FWIW, based on what we've seemingly been willing to extend Mitchell, Kirk, Magor etc. on in recent years, Brady Rowles almost certainly would've been retained were it not for the COVID list cuts. He was more impressive than any of those names have been IMO.

Zac Foot is another, though not from the group you've cited.

Elijah Taylor stings, because our selection of him was the exact kind that many Swans fans had been (unfairly IMO) bemoaning we didn't make often enough: the risky but obvious talent. "Who cares, back our culture in," fans said. Well we did, and we were shown first-hand why it's just not that simple.

Just went to the WCE store to get my brother a voucher for Christmas (long story) and man, they have so much better merch than we do

I reckon the Nike stuff is great, just seems to be the slowest every year to come out

Taylor had obvious AFL talent. Shame he could not get his life together.

I really liked Brady Rowles potential. Sorta a classier version of Dean Towers.

It's quite common for people in those roles to change employers fairly regularly. We forget that for us, it's our beloved football club, but for them it's just stepping stones to further their career (and more power to them.)

There were players with injury question marks all over our grand final this year, for both teams. I was less bothered by the selection of an injured player and more bothered by the fact Horse selected McDonald in particular whilst injured, showing a complete unwillingness to budge from the three-talls, so much so that he'd rather play a tall under an injury cloud than simply adjust and restructure the forward line.
He did the same with Reid in 2022

It's a tradition that hasn't worked to our advantage much to date. But I think traditions do add colour to our game and it's one thing that makes AFL different to the big US sports.
Yes the only Premiership player to who was our Father/Son played for our opponents. He was happy to go to Lions after saying he wanted to stay in Victoria. Total bullshit.

I don't think it is total bullshit. He wanted to play for certain teams. Good luck to him.
