5. Duff: Solid game and worked really hard when it counted.
4. Frodo: Most damaging forward and kicked the sealer.
3. Mundy: Dominant first half and worked extremely hard as well.
2. Hill: Brilliant flashes throughout the game but not a total 4 qtr effort.
1. McPharlin: Shored up the backline well.
BYB
3. Roberton: very good effort off half back and decision making was good.
2. Mora: Showed glimpses but kicking was poor especially when it counted.
1. Sos: Very solid down back.
5.Balla..another great game, proof that Blue Gunslinger is a great judge ??showed heaps of energy, great tackling and harrassing and iced the game.
4.Duffman..solid game ,exceptional in the last ..where he ran himself ragged, keeps getting better, even Brades is coming around
3.Hill....great all round game, excitement machine...will take mark of the century in the next couple of years
2.McPharlap...great to have him back, team looks much better with him at CHB
1.Mundy...usual solid game, consistantly one of our best.
3.Roberton....shows plenty
2.Morabito ..great clearance work ,just needs to finish off a bit better..this will come in time
1.Fyfe..love his work, really puts his body on the line and rarely gets caught with the pill
5. Duffield - solid throughout but critical in the last 1/4
4. Hill - I don't care what anybody esle says (eg. the West), he killed Scully when the whole game is taken into consideration
3. Frodo - the only player with the goal radar working, plus all the other things he does
2. Mundy - almost opposite to Duffield. Killed them in the first 1/2, faded out later but still did some good things
1. McPharlin - also faded prob due to lack of match fitness, but was all class on his return.
Unlucky: Broughton, McPhee and Ibbo all had good games too.
BYB:
3. Mora - 0-4 shooting at goal was a big disappointment, but otherwise great game
2. Roberton
1. Fyfe
Most have Duff in the top 3 yet he didn't get a single coaches vote. Pretty disappointing from Harvey considering Duff was just about the only Docker busting a gut to lead into space in the last quarter.
I think Duff let himself down with his normally penetrating, accurate kicking.
Ibbo's kicking was pinpoint and his desperation first class. Very underrated game.
