I mean, you have to be kidding saying Henry was protected unless anyone saying positives things about players is "being protected". Dude had more than half the board after him every game

What's that got to do with anything? Is 100% criticism required for someone not to be protected now? With a straight face you think Henry wasnt criticised a lot and didn't receive his "fair share" on here?

He's referring to how with profound lucidity and critical analysis he was ready to delist Henry after 1 game and is still salty the Freo cult defended a 1st year player.
That’s not true in the slightest. Some people gave him a bit of leeway for his first couple years because he was literally a teenager who’s first year and pre season were injury interrupted. When he actually got a run of games and people realised he was shit they turned on him quicker than they have on literally anyone else.
I could give you an example of a player who’s been coddled and defended like no other on this board despite a lack of output though…

Since I’ve moved up to Onslow my phone usage has absolutely dropped right off, but it’s remarkable how many people ask things about a Freo game or what I’m doing in real time… you start to feel a bit obligated to reply quickly, in fact I feel rude for not being on my phone hah
Anyone else feel like the Match Committee has undershot our midfield requirements for this one? I reckon we lose midfield run from Johnson and support from Emmett and we’ve missed an opportunity to bring Ras back in to reward his strong WAFL form. Sturt and Freddy might give us some more forward options, but we need to get it to them.

Not really if Banfield replaces MJ on the wing, which I think is the only option given who’s on our bench. Likely Young doesn’t start on the wing, one of Fyfe, Brayshaw, Serong or Young will start on the bench and rotate inside mid, JOM and Switta can both rotate inside, Freddy and Sturt can both play the HHF role Emmett was playing, they don’t provide the grunt but do provide an outlet.

Maybe he can do some coaching stuff next year (not on field). Probably be a great mentor to some of the young blokes.
But tactically it’s stupid to keep starting each game a man down.
That's an interesting question. I feel Fyfe's kicking is getting worse and Pearce's kicking has improved as his fitness has gotten better over the past season and a half.
It's very hard to imagine Fyfe kicking that goal that Pearce got in the final quarter last Friday night.
