Well it isn't so much self praise as pride in a job done well.

Equate it to Babe when the farmer looks down at the pig after he just rounded up all the sheep and says 'that'll do pig'. I feel equally proud of the job done and let me tell you, it was not without its own peril. That's another story however ......
