ten selections only, that is disgraceful. Two of my good mates, matt thomas and alister neville will now be missing out on the draft because afl clubs will re-draft recycled afl players. terrible

Blame the AFL for reducing lists to a size that means clubs cannot afford to carry too many young, immature bodied players. AFL clubs need to put 22 players on the field each week out of lists of 38. A bad run of injuries can lead to clubs sometimes having less than 30 players to pick from, meaning that a few extra mature bodies can be the difference between picking a team that will be competitive rather than a team, with too many young bodies, that will get bullied and flogged by the opposition.

Nev was never a real chance for the PSD yet. He was always gunning for the rookie list.

I'd say you're spot on with the exception of Kirkby. Is he training with Adelaide? All reports suggested he was miles away from it last year at Box Hill. Maybe Cupido or Armstrong to the Crows.
