Michael Willson is in town, only a few photos up so far. I'm really liking the clash! The off centre Eagle head is slightly annoying though.

I think it's just giving the appearance of being off centre. If you take the whole logo as one and don't focus on the beak, I'm pretty sure it's centred

Yeah, I know. If the top bit of the head didn't extend back so far they could shift it to make it look better or you know, just update the logo to a mix of old and current.

Sheppard somewhat plays like McKenna. outrageous call?

He's a bit behind McKenna. Bluey was a great reader of the play, he looked casual as it all came easy to him. Used his body and the ball well, hardly ever wasted a possession and was rarely beaten. Shep's in his 8th year ...... I don't think he is going to get near Bluey as a player.....he was a champion from day one!

Oh please no no no I never said he was better than Bluey. I remember him. Shep though plays a little like him reading the play and coming across with a spoil, recently has rarely lost one on ones and his possessions are getting better.

He needs to improve below his knees and play with a bit more composure. I rate him though!

But Bluey was great at reading what to do when he got the ball - something that Sheppard is not so good at.

McKenna was one of the greatest ever halfbacks in the AFL and was one of the first to play as a rebounding defender that set up forward attacks

I like Shepp but he's a long way from matching bluey

I see glimpses and plays like when not necessarily means he's as good.

Sorry for offending people but I agree Bluey was an out and out superstar and there's not much of a chance he ever gets dislodged from HBF in our greatest ever team.
Sheppard will only be 26 this year, still plenty of time for him to dislodge :).

Win a flag and a Normsmith (he is mr sheptember after all) and the gap is bridged.
