We still need LDU and even Callaghan for that matter whether or not Phillipou establishes himself or not

Even if Keeler establishes himself, we can't rely on him to be a consistent performer given young kpp. Also physically still immature. TDK allows him to take his time until Row starts to get on and we gradually ease Keeler in as the replacement - the same way Gold Coast have with Witts/Moyle
Personally I’d prefer Ed Richards to LDU as a free agent!

Can anyone tell me training times? App not saying anything and I have to drive a couple of hours to get there

I like where rtb is going with this 3rd year in.
Elite runners both speed and endurance.
Elite fitness levels.
Elite kicking.
Elite defense apart from the forwards lots of work to do there but plenty go work with.
Elite wings linking up with strong kicking half backs.
Strong line coaches, thank **** he ****ed Harves off from the forwards.
Bozzy in charge of strategy and game plan, I do like that. That’s your next head coach right there.
I think we could be next years Hawks.
Geez mate , gone a bit hard with the Elite tags

Can anyone confirm if Caminiti is training in defence?

He is according to Sophie Welsh (whoever tf that is) in this article on AFL website, but I thought he was in the rehab group?

You have never heard of her ?
You need to get out more

And her team has Caminiti down back, with Wilkie and Doogs. Twin towers at FB. Hunter, Jones and Butler as emergencies. Her team really speaks to hope although the forward line … it is hard to have a lot of faith. Just now.

Here it is,
B: Anthony Caminiti, Callum Wilkie, Dougal Howard
HB: Jack Sinclair, Liam Stocker, Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera
C: Mason Wood, Marcus Windhager, Liam Henry
HF: Mitchito Owens, Brad Hill, Mattaes Phillipou
F: Jack Higgins, Max King, Cooper Sharman,
Foll: Rowan Marshall, Jack Macrae, Jack Steele
I/C: Darcy Wilson, Hugo Garcia, Ryan Byrnes, Tobie Travaglia

Emerg: Dan Butler, Hunter Clark, Zak Jones, Arie Schoenmaker

Looking at this, I tell ya, as they say, I’m looking for a whole lot more from Mitchito, Coops, Kingy and Pou. I hope leadership emerges there too.

I actually forgot one thing. The addition of players withe the ability to play in different positions. Creating a flexibility we haven’t seen for a while. Not sure if by design or nature but it’s a smart move and gives Bozzy extra strategic pawns to play with.

I reckon it gives us the chance to move pieces around if we lose someone in game to an injury - we can keep playing "our way" because we don't have to rob "Peter to pay Paul" because Peter and Paul are interchangeable!

I'd be surprised if Webster isn't in our team for round 1.

Sophie has just read some peoples comments on here saying they think he should play defence and ran with it.

Can't confirm, he just started main group but not in play sim.

Will give a full report when I get home.

I think it's the most even competition it's bee possibly ever at the moment. Even North and GC should push ups ext year. Really only WCE and Richmond that look out of the race right now. We need to step up but we could go okay if we can. The downside is that if we could easily go backwards too. Injury, fixture and fitness probably make a huge difference.
I'm bullish about our list. I think there's plenty of cause for optimism. Wilson and Pou have tremendous upside and could well become the A graders we crave. Owens is a bit of a forgotten player in that he looked a bona fide star in 2023. He could yet be anything. Some players just need to find their niche position and that can take time. Sinclair, Battle, and Sharman come to mind.

As you said injury and fixture will play a big part in our year. I'm not confident we'll get the start to the season we need given the AFL have shafted us again with the fixture. We could be chasing our tails again if we get off to a slow start which is on the cards.

I hope Tauru's injury doesn't derail his season. Physically he looks as ready to play as any first year player in the draft.

I'd be surprised if Webster isn't in our team for round 1.

I was big on wanting Stocker to replace Webster (95% because i wanted Webster replaced) but from what i saw last year i couldn't wait for Webster to get back in the team and we looked better for it.

From my point of view, Stocker is there if the injuries pile up and should not be be a serious starting 22 option.

Every team needs solid fringe players.
