Get back to it and turn the bloody web off Between all the work and cases I have on my desk, i find it therapeutic to jump on BF 20 times a day - my boss/clients would love that - but hey I am a footy tragic - they know it and I have learnt to live with it. Good luck with those exams TBD.

Unfortunately I'm buried with study and exams all this week guys, so I won't be able to make it to training today or Wednesday. Its a shame because every player is due back this week.

Hopefully someone else can make it along and report back.

Usually out of every hour - 1 block of six minutes is left empty or i am multi-tasking with clients on the phone, probably talking footy which they instigate most of the time, but our IT guys got me onto this website, so i am pretty safe.

On AFL's list of players permitted to train with clubs, for us we only have Garner and Hamill listed - no Handles.

A bit odd considering Brendan Murphy and Kevin Dyas are on the AFL list. I'm sure it's only a logistical thing.

Went to training today.

Hanley was there... did some kicking drills (seems to have got to grips with the Sherrin already) and some goal kicking then finished up with some running (without a shirt on). He seems more solid than Begley, but will need to work on his fitness.

Players seem to be getting into their individual plans now, Merrett, Bradshaw, Drummond and Brown seem to be doing alot of running at the moment.

Can't think of anything terribly interesting... Luke copped a ball to the head...

No Travis Johnstone from what I could see. (calm down conspiracy theorists).

Hanley did the press conference today, so expect some articles about him in the Courier Mail and on the Lions website in the next day or so.

No training next week.

Oh dear, it must be too warm for Handles. I hope he acclimatises quickly.

The weather in Ireland has been mostly 12 degrees Celsius maximum. Brisbane weather at the moment must be like a heat wave to him.

Yep Chez was there.

As for Hanley, it was windy and quite cool when he was doing his running.

But yeah it was both him and Begley with their shirts off, so it must be an Irish thing... maybe they are trying to get their tans back.

Could have been doing laps on another oval for all I know... hard to tell.

Maybe getting physio on his arm?
