Shermo was indeed there.

Looks pretty good, very fit. Hope he can build his confidence back up over the pre-season.

Still in my starting 18.

Excellent. I hated Collingwood from the day one N. Buckley left to play for them. Surprising because I used to follow the Pies but what they did to the Bears and Footy in Queensland was criminal. In despair I turned to my Footy Bible where I had a revelation,
"Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Brisbane, the Root of Fitzroy, hath prevailed.."

From that day I was born again to follow the forces of Good rather than evil.
2001 and 2003 were proof there is a God, and justice was done.

Any reports on how Albert Proud, Matt Tyler, Chris Schmidt and James Hawksley are progressing? If they can step up this year that will really add to our depth which could be the difference between finals or no finals.

Just read that Henderson is coming up to Brisbane tomorrow - apparently can't wait to start training even though the club said he could take a bit longer to make the move if needed. Thanks for the Rosterwatch footage BrownDog - I was initially disappointed that we didn't pick up a midfielder at No. 8 but after seeing him in action I'm feeling pretty satisfied with our selections. Can see a bit of both Riewoldt and Pavlich there. Moves beautifully and is a one grab mark. Read that his kicking is ordinary but his short passing skills looked fine to me - spotting up targets inside forward 50 in traffic
He WAS a Collingwood supporter but obviously doesn't listen to Eddie as he said he'd only heard good things about the Lions!! Smart boy!!

In February the lions are coming to Townsville for a community camp. This is where I live. I play in the under 18s Townsville team and our regional manager is organising for a few of the boys (probably Brown and Black) to take one of our training sessions. If they don't take us, i will still be meeting all the players. So ****ing excited.

Fairley, after that community camp, we want a detailed report. Every single player you met or watched. What they said, what you said. We also want photos.
