Baghdad Bombers Fantasy Football Club. What were you thinking about?

Well, some guy called Tird has a knife man behind him called Bomber at a club called Essendon. He has successfully coached them out of the 8. After all that hard work Matty knights did to get them into finals as well.

With a name like that, I'm pretty sure you'll have a different opinion today.
Well done, you've managed to point out nothing that's right about bipolar, or bears.

The absence of key Fuzzies from this match thread means one thing only, they are shit scared.

Pot calling kettle black right here. Where's stkildaman been all yuear, what about loopy cam? Bombers have struggled this year because these players are past their prime. Furies are coming into their own this season.

Are we playing at Buckingham Palace this week? Because there's about to be a changing of the guard.

Our strength is that when others are unable to be regular contributors (isolated incidents), the rest of our leadership group step up. We won't lose another game for the season.

We are playing at Abdu Prison. The thread name is where you can find the venue.

However, the expression can still apply to Abdu Prison.

SKM has a beach house in Kuwait, well actually he owns Kuwait so he spends much time there with his lady's.
loopy is just recuperating from the dreaded simalongtym disease.

I along with many do not see the Palace reference that you tried so hard to achieve, is it something to do with the Bombers being Kings of the SFA jungle?

beez Nuffers

You have earned my everlasting hatred for forcing me to consult a dictionary

Nuffers has been suspended from driving the **** bus for 2 days

I'll see you on the field beez
You don't have urban dictionary bookmarked? You should. Maybe then you'll be able to match it with me.

As an aside, skm's laptop broke from looking at too much pr0n. lol.

Bombers in betting scandal
By Betsy Boo

The Baghdad Bombers Fantasy Football Club have again hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons after players have been caught betting on a Furies' win in the upcoming Preliminary Final. It is alleged that the bets were not only placed on a Furies' win but also hougie for first goal kicker.

It is believed up to 6 players could be involved in the scandal.

Players trained today seemingly unaware the story was about to break, and in what is seen as a massive leg up for the Fighting Furies, ruckman tigland made a surprise appearance at the Bombers' media conference after training and somehow managed to get the first question in, "What odds did you get on us to win the Prelim?"

Baghdad captain beez looked flustered and umm'd and ahh'd before cancelling the interview before it even started.

It is believed that many of the Bombers' players are worried about going down the same road as the Dragons last season - a straight sets exit would be disastrous for the team from Abdu Prison, with the club struggling for numbers, ruours of players wanting out and no simmer from next season onwards.

Spokeswoman for the TAB Jaimee Rogers had this to say when asked about the scandal outside her hairdressers, "I have a great relationship many players from the Bombers. I do most of my business with ThePuppetMaster and he's proved to be a worthwhile client. We've spent many nights together discussing many things and at not one stage has he hinted the Bombers would throw a game." She went on to say "Go Furies! There'll be a party at TAB HQ on Monday if the Furies get up."

An unidentified Bombers' player being questioned by police outside the local Abdu TAB.

It is alleged the bets total $250 000, the biggest, $50 000 on a Furies' win by vice captain Gee Dub. A flurry of bets after the news broke has seen the Furies firm into $1.68 favourites despite playing away from home.

Baghdad Bombers captain, beez, released this statement this afternoon.

"Throughout the season many of my players, including myself have placed many a winning bet. We are quite a savvy bunch and have made a tidy profit enabling us to continue to employ our lady masseurs, have our mexican themed training nights, and organise our end of season trip. Despite what others may think, we will go out there on Monday and give 100% and are expecting to march into our second straight Grand Final."

It is not known if the Sweet FA committee will hand down any penalty to the Bombers, but given there are no laws against this, it seems as though their hands are tied. This comes as another embarrassing goof from the committee who have come under fire this season for not getting on top of many breaches of the rules.

^ need a tl;dr version.

Article seems too serious from the outset.
Good attitude. Not bothering seems to be the Furies' motto for most of the season...

"New recruits needed" is a good one too. :)
