AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Did you not watch the GWS game? They were both toast by the end and we barely got anything from Brown being the lone ranger.Waite is for the tip. Disappointed he has come straight in.
I'd like to have given Preuss another shot and gone with 2 ruckman.
Good to see Clarke back, well deserved.
How much later the blokes getting into his late 20s if he is not played on a regular basis soon he will be to old, maybe that's Brads plan.If Daw was fit I'd play him ahead of Waite he needs game time but that seems to have stalled again for whatever reason. With one eye on the future, getting a top draft pick and getting games into Daw and Preuss it's a no brainer for me.
I'm not complaining it's what i would do but I'm fine with Waite playing and Preuss will get plenty of games for us and hopefully we get to see Daw later on.
Ha yeah was thinking the same thing he could be retired at 30 with 60 games to his name the way things are going.H

Dont nessasarily agree with corey but love how he calls the team "we".
In: MountfordIts going to be raining most of the day.
Are we to tall?
The logical inclusion for wet weather football would be A. Swallow.
Definitely hansen. He has the uncanny ability to get him self concussed in the wet. Also, his strength is his marking ability which is neutralised by the wet conditions. Thompson stays because he's good in the wet (has played a few good games in the wet up at the SCG).In: Mountford
Out: Thompsom/Hansen?
The irony. If there's one player Waite reminds me of it's Corey. Back in the day, we would all have been happy to see Corey in the team.
I can't believe the overrating of Adelaide by this board. Yes, they're playing good footy but where has the test been? GWS in Rd 1? Anything happens in Rd 1 and also the Showdown. North are well in this, especially in the wet.
I want to see Adelaide beat a good side in Melbourne on a cold winters day/night before I start locking them in for a GF.
They are no champion team. Get real BF board
You've bradburied your way to the top. Because lets face it, you're only there because we've dropped the ball in the last quarter in games. Typically we start the season 9-0. This year we haven't and someone had to take over.Sorry for the intrude
So we need to beat a top Victorian team in Melbourne to get rated, well currently there are not to many of them and part from the Crows the other two teams which are flying are GWS and Port which we beat comfortably, not to mention he Port game was in front of their home crowd of about 53,000
Why play two players to beat one ruckman?[/QUOT
Why not .... Either can be moved forward if need be .
Hahahah yeah take that Crows supporter .You've bradburied your way to the top. Because lets face it, you're only there because we've dropped the ball in the last quarter in games. Typically we start the season 9-0. This year we haven't and someone had to take over.
Marley will keep betts goalless. It will be that confidence sapping that betts will probably develop the yips. Laird is thanking his lucky stars simpkin isn't playing, but guess what?! Garner's playing and if laird doesn't have eyes on the back of his head he might end up 6-feet under like fyfe did.
A murder of crows, ironic isn't it? That's what Saturday will look like.
See you in September. Your ground or ours, we don't care!
Don't forget you flogged a hungry Tigers out fit at your ground and a high flying Hawks at the G your only as good as what's put i front of you .Sorry for the intrude

I agree with you but I now have concerns about Daw and how he will fit in. I think Preussy has thrown a huge spanner in the works with how quickly he has developed. For mine he should be playing and is ahead of Daw (from a rucking perspective). Daws issue is if he is a Ruck come forward then with Goldy/ Preuss he is third in line to ruck and from a forward perspective he is behind Brown and Wood and Waite... the line is too long. How long can the guy sit in a holding pattern waiting for Waite / Goldy to either retire / get injured / traded. He may end up being trade bait come year end.If Daw was fit I'd play him ahead of Waite he needs game time but that seems to have stalled again for whatever reason. With one eye on the future, getting a top draft pick and getting games into Daw and Preuss it's a no brainer for me.

But we are that bit more sensationalYep..lets hope the crows are sensational on the weekend!
