Not from the Sharks but I believe Jason has indicated he will complete his footy career there. However, that's a year or two away. Same applies to Luke Ball and Old Xavs.

What about Gallagher at UB? Got him onboard as a coach, thinking it would only be a matter of time before he pulled the boots on. Guess what? he held firm and didnt play. I am sure he would be looking back in the VFL for some $$$$$$. Thoughts anyone??
Heard the same - from one of the proposed assistants. The prospective coach coached Blackburn two years ago. Not sure it was because of the potential signings. They were under the impression that they didn't have a chance of getting it. Looks like they do.
Seems like we have heard the same mail. No sure if they conducted interviews or even advertised but a Blackburn crew was what I heard also. No idea if it’s on the money or not. Was one of several rumours doing the rounds at EP last Sunday.

Maybe I miss heard but I’m sure someone mentioned that Summers was going to play for Swinburne Uni. Now surely that can’t be right. No disrespect but he will fair dinkum take the P155 at that level.

Such a funny post. Carey like many ammos clubs struggle hard to field four teams. Through generous support of sponsors and individuals they manage this. And also manage to pay for a good coach.
Carey do not pay any players, now or ever. Carey do attempt to lure players by offering them opportunities fostered by the growing Carey network. Something all strong clubs do.

Andy wasn't going to coach in 2013 as far back as 2011. Lots of family and business stuff on the go. Ripping bloke!

If I had a dollar for every time I read a post like this I'd be rich. I know it doesn't happen at Carey. Your numbers are laughable. If only you knew what went on at an Ammos clubs like Carey. The meetings with helpful supporters and sponsors help get the teams on the park. That's it. You show me someone willing to part with even a couple of thousand dollars of their own and ill show you the Easter bunny. It's funny what you can wish to believe or what you choose to think is true.
Name a name of either player or generous sponsor. I need an off season laugh.

Didn't the VAFA pump their chest a couple of years ago by appointing a grand investigator to look into all these things?. Either he has very little work to do, is just a window dresser or all clubs have cleared the decks.
As i have said all along, have all A & B Grade players sign a statutory declaration prior to season commencement that they are not playing for financial benefit (and if it is a job related link then they need to declare it) - just like drug testing if they have nothing to hide then all will be happy to make sure it is a level playing field. It may also find out the clubs who may not be doing the right thing by protesting its implementation - just so damn easy its not funny
It will strip all the innuendo and rumor from the situation - or maybe VAFA HO just wish it to continue as it brings better players into the comp.
