Note sure anyone was accusing Max of telling porkies, at least I didn't - just that we could not remember him. Despite the evidence which shows he played 20 plus senior games I still have no recollection of this lad. Max is rarely off the mark but still don't see an issue in seeking a bit more information.

On another note - by chance is he the son of ex De La player "Happy" Hannan who was until recently the OX senior TM?

Highly evident that no-one knows him personally or his actual football career.

He wears no. 39 for OX. He is 6'2". He has been Kew's two's runner this year.

What triggered my memory was it was around the time of the demise of Mike McArthur-Allen. Don't think 'Happy's' time ended up that happily unfortunately.

Rather a last minute shot for goal by Kew was given a point despite all Kew players running at the goal..sorry point kicker to celebrate and all fans behind the goals high fiveing. The goal umpire didnt get into the correct position, unlike Canada, and I can tell you it was a sausage roll. It was tense. The crowd was ready to erupt. Beaser kept calm.
Tough loss for the Kew boys. But you win some and you lose some.

We could/should have been up at half time by 4 goals (some may dispute this) but our kicking for goal let us down.

Congrats on Trevor Bromley on 250 games. Champion.

Anyone can be bothered watch Bromley's goal in the 3rd quarter. 35 metres out on a 45 degree angle. He kicks the goal off the ground. Goal umpire didn't move. Hit is sweeter the a Ponting backfoot drive.

Max. The only Hannan I can recall playing for Xavs in recent seasons is Jeremy. Michael Hannan just does not ring a bell with me. Genuine question but how recently was he a Xavs senior player?

I raise this only because Brazzale was touted as an established Xavs senior player when he went across to Kew but from memory only ever played unders, thirds and reserves for OX.
