How has everyone read the start by the 4 new teams coming into the comp

I thought SMS would have been a bit better than they've shown, however roys look like they will be right up there

In Hippster’s opinion, the hipsters from Brunswick Street Oval are flag favs. Like Blacks who are down dominating B after being unlucky to exit A, Fitzroy were also very unlucky to go down and could easily be mixing it in B this year.
Fitzroy beat the likes of St Bernard’s and Carey from memory last year who are now top of the pops in B. They went down by .3 of a percent. It’s Royboy time.

I agree Roy boys team to beat (seen a bit of them). Willy are a contender too from results and word on the street and I think both PEGS and SMS will find it tough going. Having seen results and little of them. Depth of some teams (injury/availability) will play a factor too esp when you see some twos results.

Appears to be two standout consistent teams at this early stage in Fitzroy and Willy.
Rest of competition seems to be fairly evenly matched from 3-10 at this stage.

From what I've seen

Willy are good but not a stand out. Forwards are good especially if Ebinger is playing. Adamson is their most important player as he is a rock in the backline. Wheelahan is a jet.
Fitzroy are very good, but if Rory isn't playing, they will struggle in the middle. Forwards are very elusive and run forward very well.

Looks like Willy and Roys hot favourites with some mixed picks on the other games. It's good to have some games that aren't certainties. Premier B has had some massive margins! Could be a long season for some of them at the bottom end. Depending on this weeks results there could be a real log jam in the middle of the Premier C table. Enjoy the weekend of footy!

Hmmm.. Willy and Fitzroy were gimmes. Then you give yourself 2/3 to get 4 in total. Hmmm. Whilst I believe you may have tipped these legitamely..rules are rules.
Don’t like you your chance of not scoring the bottom score of the round.
Interesting round. Have to disagree with you Max re Fitzroy. Take Rory out and they would struggle?? No, they would still be the best in the comp. Roy’s have great midfield depth and overall depth. They are the team to beat And don’t need Rory to grab all the glory!
Marcellin loss suprised me. I had them as Monty’s for finals. Next week they travel to take on the Roy’s. So 2-4 beckons. Coxys big break..out game. Don’t think so.
