UHS-VU vs Hampton Rovers
Old Ivanhoe
vs Old Geelong
Ormond vs Preston Bullants
Monash Blues vs Old Mentonians
Marcellin vs Mazenod
I agree with the big horse. Think OGs could go closest.
Lunch at Monash tomorrow to celebrate the great contribution of Shanks Longney who passed away recently. Captain-coach of our inaugural team in 1962. Vale to one of our greats.

Ill take these.

If OI lose, puts them on the back foot.
If Marc lose, keeps them in the middle of the pack.
Old Ment lose, will be a struggle for the rest of the year.
If HR lose, its because they got lost.
If Ormond lose its because they also got lost.

Sorry, but you’ve lost me.....🧐

Monash looked solid over OM yesterday. OM had some very handy players, and were well coached, but Monash is further along with its game plan. OM will improve plenty. OM post match attendance very good, 8/10.
Great to have a big match up Rd 3 v Hampton.

Some massive wins for OG and Mazenod. It Was anyone at the games?

I’m very keen for Preston’s Round 4 match up against Old Mentone. Early ca but I would expect one of them to join UHS in D1 next year.

OM are better than Preston at this stage .

It will be interesting to see when both teams have played UHS. UHS were and have been out gunned and out sized they may have been embarrassed on the score board but they have never given up. They have been on the wrong side of a lot of dodgy decisions especially on Saturday. That isn’t the reason they were beaten but it doesn’t help a young team playing against well drilled teams.

I don’t usually say this about my team when we lose, but I believe we were the better team on the on the day as we had 60% of the play, and had a shot for goal, 40 metres out to win the game, but the skipper unfortunately missed. He were very stiff, also lost three players before half time with ”strings”.

Bad kicking is bad football.

As OG’s were ahead when it counted, so they deserved their win.

I would like to know if due to the absence of a 2020 season, whether soft tissue injuries have been prevalent. We have had 6 hamstrings so far this season.

My Myotherapist and I had that discussion last week. Their practice is seeing more than the usual number of soft tissue injuries at this time of year.

Welcome to C Grade Footy Matt Suckling. Lucky to have his head left on his shoulders. VAFA TV 1st Quarter 20min mark. Preston 22 forearm from behind. Down like a bag of ****. Was this reportable?

It was a mark and very late , not sure it was reportable , just a 50. That's about all that bloke did.

Vid shows the Ormond guy behind having an extended arm who may have just connected with the Preston guy beforehand.

Apart from a couple C looks like it will be a great comp , looks even at the top.
I agree.

Early days looks like the top is Ormond, Old Geelong and Monash.

With OI, Hampton, Marcellin, Mazenod on equal footing. If Hampton are competitive, or even beat Monash this week, I think that is proof they are real contenders. OI must win this week.

Mentone and Preston have had a very very rough early draw both playing Ormond and Monash. Both should beat UHS. We will find out what they're made of when they play the likes of Marcellin, Hampton and Mazenod.

I have not seen much of UHS, but it looks like, as expected with the blokes they lost, that they will have a long year.

Tough round for tipping, few teams that would want to win this week to get off the mark if they want to play finals rather than batting relegation.

I’ll go

OI
OG
OM
Ormond
Monash
