Talk of one or two forfeits in the Premier Reserves.
Nothing Premier about it. Clubs should be relegated and Melbournians stay in next year

They had players playing two games?
That's what I was told, and it certainly looked like it. Teamsheets had a number of handwritten entries. Would welcome confirmation/denial from someone in the know.

Edited to put the important bit in bold because obviously it was too subtle for someone to read it before having a go.

MIO, did you ever play against OM’s ?
Plenty of times (A section, B section, Clubbies & u/19s premier) .... Im sure they would remember me (Im joking I was a long way below average footballer). Never really had any problems ... and loved the junction oval. Again; the best memories are of a certain B section GF. WHAT. A. DAY.

No one played 2 games on Saturday for the Fields.
We only had 19 players for the Reserves and an awful lot of inexperience (due to injuries and depth)
In the Seniors we lost 2 players in the first quarter and only had 1 on the bench for the second half, although SKOBS were simply amazing and just smashed us everywhere. This was the first week we have been truly uncompetitive for 4 quarters.
The Coaching staff have been fantastic this year, we are just too young (after losing too many senior players to $$$)
Our youth are awesome and the school relationship is strong, we are just going through a rebuild

Think you mean callous but please elaborate.....the sight of OMs just makes me think of the greatest GF comeback ever.....happy to have them around.
Callous? I thought that but s/check said no. Some years ago, cheated the system, player lists and regos etc. Went on to win Premiership.
MO will probably know more.....

I can't have this, regardless of what division you play in you roll blokes up from your lowest team. 2's are short, roll up some 3's or 19's.

VAFA should comedown heavily on any club that doesn't forfeit their lowest ranked side.

I wasn't able to get down to the Trott on the weekend, but it seems the boys did it very comfortably and increasing our lead at every change once again. This has been a constant during the season and really pleasing to see.

Sofronidis is probably in Woodroow contention on the back of another dominant game at CHB from all reports and having three blokes kick 30 plus goals this season has also helped us a fair bit too with Pocknee's six on the weekend a really great reward for his great season so far.

OMs seem to have really fallen into a heap mid season, good win by Old Scotch who seem to just keep winning. SKOB demolishing Caulfield shows that it's very difficult for clubs to be competitive in A grade when there such a huge list turnover - but hopefully Caulfield can fight the season out and regroup in B grade next year. It was good to see they have stuck with Bluey McKenna for next year and hopefully with another year under their belt their younger brigade can keep improving. Credit to them for also fielding a twos side again. On that note, good win by OH's senior side, but pretty poor that they once again didn't bother fielding a reserves side but fielded an under 19s side due to them being in contention for finals. I'm not sure that's right and I know at Collegians in the past when numbers have been hard to come by, the unders have been forfeited and many have played in the reserves.

Good on your club Keano for fielding a twos side with 19. I know a few weeks ago at the Trott it was Uni Blues who played our twos with 18 as well. It's no easy task, but well done to those who showed up.

Awesome, thanks for the clarification Keano.

As Bogart said in Casablanca - "I was misinformed."

Being more of a 'B' grade follower these days with De La, I'm keen to understand the demise of Caulfield this season? Is it easily identifiable the cause of their woe? Or just a season to forget?

With Caulfield returning to B, will we see an immediate rebound as they are a class above the grade below (Like the snow dogs) or like my club, it's the perfect time to reset and rebuild and get back to A when we can be more than competitive.

Interested in peoples thoughts.
