On Footy Classified last night, Hutchy made Kornes defend picking the Crows at 8 this year. and to his credit Kornes spent a while praising individual Crows and the team’s style of play.

I can't believe we are only 2 days from round 1 kicking off.

Have to admit, I'm feeling pretty good about this squad. Probably the best I've felt about a Crows team the week before round 1 since 2017

It's pretty clear Kane Corne-Francis is pumping us up just wait to stick the pin in at any moment to say we've failed.

He would not genuinely believe that we are going to finish higher than Port. It conflicts with his unfettered support of Ken Hinkley. If he thinks under Hinkley, that Port will drop below Adelaide, then he cannot support the coach. He's made no secret of his love for Rozee and now JHF. So if the recruiting is top notch, but they'll still be worse than the Crows, it must be the coach?
