Never seen Hurn look so lean - looks in incredible condition. Big year ahead for the future captain! (Hopefully more time up the ground)

Great to hear about Bennell tearing it up - another player with big scope for improvement.

Did Gaff look a lot bigger, or was that just my imagination?

It's weird. Does our lack of exposure to them in a couple of months skew our perception of their size?

They all look fairly buff, but I remember the past few pre-seasons (2013 an exception where they were noticeably leaner) thinking they were in the in the best shape I've ever seen them. Might just be prior to the real running starting and dropping a bit of size.

That's generally the standard from what I've noticed over the years. Though we've looked undersized compared to most during the season the last couple of years. Might be totally wrong but seems that way to me.

Probably too many off-season churros.

Lycett looks like he ate the whole truck. Dudes huge.

He's a massive unit. Was shit scared he'd walk last season, stoked he stuck around.

'Apparently' that was all just hysterical nonsense on this board and he wasn't going anywhere from the start

I have no doubts he would've weighed up his options. He'd be stupid not to.

I hope they keep practicing that drill in the rain - the underarm chaos ball to the guy who needs to pick it up cleanly first touch. Just, please, practice that every day. 45 mins at least. Especially you, Selwood, Sheppard and Darling.

I was thinking similar to this the other day. Under Simpson they seem to be doing loads more basic ball-handling, body positioning and skill based drills than under Worsfold. Footy Fundamentals as Simpson says.

Long may these remedial classes continue.
