I still think this lad has a huge future for us. Hoping for a R1 gig as a starting point for Clay

Was tracking well last year before the anke injury, hopefully has an injury free run at it this time
Hewett embracing the ballet footwork stance. Looking solid too. Can’t wait to see him in the midfield again!
West Coast Training Notes: Ryan Maric floated for position switch as veteran return to the track
How about we give this overused, unfunny joke a rest?
Its right up there with posting Gee on anything to do with Venables and putting in Jack Watts as a poll option as embarrassing crap just clogging up threads.

No, just bring back the Eaglett'sThe big blow-up blue chook?...okay if you're winning lots, bit pretentious and cringey if you lose a lot...the banner is very old school, sometimes you gotta move on...is it getting too American hype? Do we go all the way and bring on the skimpy dancing pop-pom girls?
I don't mind the blow up chook tbh, and I think I saw the Eaglettes in a section of the 1994 series? I don't recall them back in the day and was surprised when I saw them. No, just bring back the Eaglett's
The comments all seem to have him doing rehab workHow's Hutch looking? First preseason for him hope to see some gains.

I know it's early Keys but I can't contain my excitement...I’ve been to 3 sessions so far
Haven’t seen him do anything much more than walk a couple of laps
No idea what the issue is but doubt he’ll be doing anything substantial pre Christmas. McQualter has said there’s no long term concerns with anyone though so hopefully he’s back in full training after the Christmas break
McQualter comes from Melbourne. Hutchings probably has hot spot in his foot which is a nothing injury in Victoria and a season ender at Lathlain.
Hutch showed a fair bit end of the season and the footy gods seems to hate us having nice things lately.

From the 3 sessions you have seen, outside of Ginbeast, which 5 players have surprised you the most with their conditioning/fitness levels? Would love a little blurb on each if you have time.
I am keen to read your comments surrounding Dewar, J.Williams, and Bazzo.
Does it look like Barnett has bulked up at all?
Dewar wasn’t at training yesterday but I was impressed with him on Monday - was regularly at the pointy end of the group when they were running
JWill looks to have bulked up a bit and has looked good in all three sessions. Probably the player who’s caught my eye the most
Bazzo, like Dewar, didn’t train yesterday but looks to be in good shape ready for this preseason
Barnett maybe a bit bigger but not substantially so
As for other players, Archer Reid is covering the ground really well and I’ve liked the agility he’s showing for a big bloke
And I always like watching the energy Harvey Johnston brings to training
Expect that training will ramp up next week when the full squad hits the track
A lot to like about the signs Jwill showed last year for sure. Looks a proper KPF. The only concern is how we fit him in if Jake and Oscar get a good run at it with their bodies.
Bwill might be having some sleepless nights if Flynn is firing as #1 Ruck.

Flynn and Bailey Williams are competing for the No.1 ruck spot
The loser of that contest is playing WAFL because Jack Williams is the best fit as forward/ruck. And by some margin
Chuck in HR and Hall and that would be a fun British Bulldog quartet to watch. Can't wait to see Ginbey & Allan go head to head during training.
Just as long as they don't injure each other.Chuck in HR and Hall and that would be a fun British Bulldog quartet to watch.
Don't think I would much enjoy being in amongst it though
