hopefully your right, looks a ripper.Star FF in the making. Nicholls will be a great foil for Ollie Murphy if they both go on with it. I think all the KPDs taken in that 30-40 range this year are going to be very, very good players.
Thanks for the thorough training reportThought it was pretty good training session.
Harley doing a lot of running!
Harley doing a lot of running!
If Dewar can make a wing his that would be huge. Showed plenty in the last few gamesLong session - not sure what time they started but they were will into their warmup when I arrived at 9.30. Trained through until 11.45
Fair bit of running, some ball movement/skill work and a couple of match sim stints that lasted for about 15 minutes each
Ended the pre-Christmas training block on a high
There was a lot going on at times, especially since they had up to half a dozen Beagles players plus the 4 academy players we’ve had training and Charlie Banfield. A lot of drills were split into smaller groups and spread out around the ground so not always easy to pick out specific players
• Chesser the only player I didn’t see at all and whilst I saw Sheed he didn’t do much whilst I was there
• Jamieson, Hutchinson and Petruccelle did what has become their usual running program away from the main group. Bailey Williams joined them for a bit but spent a little bit more time with the main group
• Cole, Johnston and Davis also spent most of the session running at a good clip. As did Graham and Ginbey
Most of the others trained for a good chunk of the session although the likes of Reid, Yeo, Hough and Allen were rested at times
I’ll do a full preseason wrap later but a few notes from today
• Ryan is becoming more engaged now the competitive work is ramping up
• Yeo increased his training loads but didn’t participate in the match sim
• Reid also upped his load and did some of the match sim. Looks trimmer than he turned up to start preseason
• Gross and Allan were both prominent in the match sim, especially Gross
• Barnett played back and looks to be over his calf issues
• Grego looks and moves like a mini-Yeo
• Bazzo did most of the session including the match sim
• Shanahan has very sticky hands
• Dewar played both match sim periods on a wing and looked good doing so
Nah he's too fast and he doesn't call for the ball enough while running onto his opposite foot, he won't make it as our winger. If Dewar can make a wing his that would be huge. Showed plenty in the last few games

Hewett train fully on a Wednesday? How did he look in match sim?
Harley may have an extra reason to be getting fit - I saw him early today getting a coffee and he was accompanied by a very attractive young blonde woman in gym gear who did not look like an AFLW player.
I actually thought that girl was from the AFLW ?Harley may have an extra reason to be getting fit - I saw him early today getting a coffee and he was accompanied by a very attractive young blonde woman in gym gear who did not look like an AFLW player.
