I'm all for pumping up you're own players but that is just ludicrous.
Perhaps you should be looking at each position and seeing who they have to beat to get into the 22. I think you'll find that you require a lot less bold font.
Nope, there were others. Off the top of my head we were also missing Michael Pettigrew and Matt Thomas.

The forward line pretty much sums it up. 3 of Ebert, Westhoff, Motlop and Tredrea wouldn't make the Dees lineup apparently. Stunning overrating of your players, especially considering the caning we gave you while not playing particularly well in round 21.
Also, there is no way in hell you had players the calibre of Cornes, Salopek and Tredrea out, and that's just off the top of my head. You don't have players of that calibre on your list.

Well that's a different story entirely, you have some good prospects on your list, and so do we. Who knows what the future may hold. But if the clubs merged and you were building a squad for 2009, you wouldn't have many Demons in the starting 22.

We may have been terrible this year and only won 7 games...Melbourne have won only 1 more game in the last 2 seasons combined. To suggest that Melbourne players would significantly out number our 22 by 15-7 is absolutely ludicrous. Not to mention the last two times our clubs have met weve won by 89 and 78 points.
Hmmmm... Looks like a little bit of list over-rating... Well, I see yours and raise you. I'll bold those from our best 22 they I would suggest would make Melbourne's best 22...

I'd suggest there shold be room somehow for Garland Bate and Green, but frankly can't really see who else could be dropped.
What is patently obvious (other than I will incur righteous indignation from ILoveTheHoff
) is that both clubs are a bit short in the rucking and KPF spots...It is also interesting to note that neither "best 25" listed contain either Bentley or Bell suggesting that this really is truly a sidenote type trade proposition.

I have two, both came up on the 'people you may know' function. Brett Ebert is mutual friends with a lot of Port people I have on my friends list and Mitch Farmer came up as mutual friends with a few people I went to school with. I'm not one of these people who goes out of their way to add players. In fact I think both times I fried requested the two mentioned I'd sunk a few tinnies
