Questions for Laidley at the cocktail party tonight

I beg to differ.

Whilst there have been people who have been critical of various aspects of the club, there have also been plenty of people who support what the club, coach, and players are doing. It seems to me that they only notice (or remember) the negative comments.

I know that Dean Laidley has been annoyed at some of the things posted on BigFooty. At the end of last season, I sent him a letter explaining how I saw the issue from the side of the North fans who use BigFooty. Unfortunately, I never got a response from him.

Next time CC Geoff Walsh and l bet you get a response. Nothing like CC's to make people more attentive. Fancy not responding to someone who has organised numerous fund raising initiatives for the club, ie Player sponsorships.

Wouldn't have been any of my posts coz I WAS 100% behind him last season (but understandly baffled) and I tried hard to overlook the 'cracks' that some other posters were HELLBENT in cracking wide open.


Unfortunately this season, those cracks have spread beyond breaking point with me and I held off until after the Pies loss. Enough was enough. The walking off from training really emphasised that. Damage is done now.

What really is bothering is that you stated JYD had issues with BF midway through last season , we were always in the Top 8 throughout the season and he still needed to look over his shoulder. That spells 'insecurity' of some form. With North tripping in August in 03/04 to miss the Top 8 was
just a fans warning of 'don't F*** Up again' and that's understandable but boy, is JYD getting precious or what? He knows too well it's a cut-throat industry so what else does he expect???

l might be wrong but l think Deano got very upset with me in relation to my comments when l was in the match committee coterie. Several emails were exchanged between Deano and myself and l think at the end it was like let's agree to disagree without those words actually being spoken.

For the record l no longer am in the match committee coterie due to the change in format introduced by the club this year. Some might say the change was made to keep me out but l wouldn't go that far

Geoff Walsh was excellent in taking the time to reply to us when the Cararra thing started to get media attention.

After seeing Deano come off the stage and take some very deep breaths I thought better of approaching him.

Must say the team was pretty up beat. Probably because they expected a worse reception but the fans still loved em.

Could of picked up some bargains at the auction. $1800 to fly to Adelaide with the team and spend the weekend with them.
