On the topic of our cheer squad - noticed that section of the ground has been a bit anaemic of late. The Tigers and North games our cheer squad was vastly outnumbered by the away side. Are we down on numbers?

I've been stuck at work, sorry mate. I'll do better next year :p

I've only been to four games myself, not on my high horse haha! Just curious as to the dip in numbers in and around that bay.

Haha, it's a joke, mate. Like my absence was responsible for the decreased crowd size! :p

Did we actually fail as a football club last season despite winning the flag?

Last year was the 1st year since 2009 we didn't actually improve our overall season result.

2009 - 9th
2010 - Lost elim final by 30 points
2011 - Lost prelim by 3 points
2012 - Lost GF by 10 points
2013 - Won GF by 15 points
2014 - Won GF by 63 points
2015 - Won GF 46 points

Should more questions have been asked as to why we didn't actually improve?

This is probably also appropriate for the #hawthornproblems thread.

On another topic of the cheersquad, I'd like to see our banner in the GF if we make it again say "We're back. DEAL WITH IT!"

I'd much prefer freekickhawthorn

Most inexperienced players to win a premiership!

6 - Greg Madigan - 1989
7 - John Cunningham - 1961
8 - Peter Murnane - 1976
8 - Brent Renouf - 2008
9 - Rodney Eade - 1976

Ryan Burton could top this list :)
