Yesterday, while having a bite to eat, at Kuala Lumpur airport, I spotted a good friend, and namesake, the other Thai Hawk. We have watched the past three Grand Finals together, and if he is not overseas, will certainly, if Hawks participate, will watch this years. I like to think this as a good omen.

OK SLB, but I met him through big footy, and we have watched the Hawks win the last three flags together, and will watch this year's unless he has to go o/s then. What are the odds of the two of us, running into each other at KL airport? A million to one!

The odds may be rare, but how is seeing him at some random time and some random location an omen when the 'omen' is you watching the GF with him?

An omen is a sign of an event yet to come. I took this 1,000,000 to 1 meeting as an omen of our annual get together to watch the Grand Final, of which we have won the last three. I didn't expect to see him until Grand Final Day.

Out of respect for him wanting to keep things as normal as possible and the fact there wasn't going to be a running commentary on his fight we don't really have an ongoing thread on the topic.

We will have a welcome back Roughy thread sometime next year or early 2018 when he beats this shit and returns to playing.

Have only seen reference to it on here.

Someone rang SEN this morning saying that to get Mitchell from the Swans we will be trading a player as part of the deal. Had the impression it was one of our better players but didn't catch the name. Anyone else hear this and can tell us who the caller was referring to?
