Yeah I don’t think I’m who you think I am……., generally don’t pick fights on here with anyone …..i also didn’t think I took exception to anything. I just posed the question back to you, thought I was polite actually.
Anyway, all good, I don’t agree re the duck. There ya go.

Yeah, on that. I actually think Wardlaw had something to do with that free kick being awarded. As soon as the umpire didn’t pay his, in real time, it felt like pleaded for that high and free kick and the umpire felt like a ****ing moron for missing/not paying it. So just paid it forward to jy’s tackle

Also if we lost that I was going around to sleevos house and knocking off his bmx

I hate North Melbourne and hope you don't win another game for the remainder of the year, but that Xerri chase was absolutely amazing.

Haa

Hope you make the GF and lose by a point

Turns out Denis was right - contested possession and tackles do matter - a lot. We actually put pressure on the opposition and won the hardball for three quarters.

Plus 15 in contested possession and plus 22 for tackles.

Tackles:
Season Ave: 55
R.13 v West Coast : 84

Contested possessions:
Season Ave: 121
R.13 v West Coast: 152
Agree. Thought the defensive pressure in our forward line was noticeably better today. That has to be a non/negotiable for the future. Carlton have become a half-decent team on the back of it ….
Choms face after singing the song ❤️❤️
Captain-in-waiting. Clearly means a lot to him ….

No, it looked like he ducked to shrug the tackle then dropped the ball. Ryan got a similar call a minute or so earlier in our forward line. It doesnt matter, it played out how it did and as I said, that's footy.
I'd suggest enjoying the win rather than taking exception over a reasonable discussion around a single decision, but if you are who I think you are, you will probably just be looking for a fight so have at it, I wont respond.

Do you think Yeo made a reasonable attempt to get rid of the ball after he was tackled?

I don’t normally frequent the main board, but there is something cathartic about calling West Coast shit.

It’s great to win Cripple Fight!
One of them was having a melt at 3 quarter time that we were only winning because of Laura Kane.

We really should have beaten them by 5 goals plus they way we dominated them in the contest.

You could clearly see them tighten up purely because they hadn’t won a game.

West Coast benefited from plenty of shit umpiring calls, but they won’t admit it.

Let’s focus on one decision as the sole reason for losing. It wasn’t like they were shafted for 4 quarters like we have been in the past.

Anyone have a photo of our banner today.
Something about most rhyming with wet toast

Beating them in the West
Is harder than most
Lucky for us
They are just wet toast

I did say to some folks that the banner splitting was a bad omen, but as it turns out, they did some quick repairs and it was standing proudly as the team ran out.

Which I guess was a good omen.

Get stuffed Gerard, should have been a free to George for too high and he would have kicked it anyway. Justice

Just reposting because, yep… if the holding the ball wasn’t there, the high was.

Furthermore:

Copied, pasted, bolded, in case anyone still has any doubt.
