Out of curiosity is that renovation when the SCG got the 50m arc (not the 45m discguised as 50m)?

It actually had 50m arcs already, but there was only 2 metres between the arc and the centre square. That's now 5 metres.

As far as I've been told it was a requirement that the 50m arcs were always exactly 50m.

You are probably right.

I have a vague memory of the arcs being "50 meters" and then, when the center square size was increased to 50 meters that, with the change, the 50's intercepted the center square at the SCG. Rather than the 50m intercepting the center square, the AFL decided to have 45m arcs at the SCG.

Yeah that could well be true.

I don't see this one as a danger game. They're not without a slight change but we should account for them quite easily given what's at stake.
Exactly what we say before all those games we "should of" won... As soon as we expect to win we lose. It's historically accurate.

Thus... #DangerGame

Wow, statmaster!
Are you the groundskeeper, or just had those handy? Interesting.
Clearly the SCG is fat in the middle of the ground.
I didn't realised KP was so narrow. Homebush is a problem I'm glad we don't have anymore.

I was looking down the line yesterday from the fence in ladies stand and thinking - that's a barely a 45 degree angle! I could Effin kick that! LOL

Now, now. C'mon lets be honest here, we're all friends on this board, there's no need to tell fibs. LOL

Out: Mills (concussion just has to mean a week nowadays at least), Florent.
In: Sinclair, Robinson.

Mills for Sinclair isn't like for like but I just don't like only having the one ruckman. I know Witts rucks alone but I think there's an advantage, especially when Witts rests, in having that dominant ruckman. The temptation will be to play Laidler if Mills misses (and fair enough I guess) but I've just always been a 2 ruckmen man.

Florent has been keeping Robbo's seat warm but now it's time. They play a similar game but I think Robbo's good for 20+ possessions. That's a 7 possession upgrade. No brainer.

Witts doesn't ruck alone, Wright backs him up and is actually a pretty capable ruckman.

Boy oh boy wowee! Doona probably wants to trade Hewett out too I'm betting.

I'd trade Hewitt out. Whenever caught with the ball he handballs to anyone, opposition included as he appears to be more concerned with his own welfare than Swans maintaining possession. Compare that with Hannebery, Parker or Kennedy in the same situation, ball always ends up in another Swans hands, no consideration for their own welfare!
