Game was always going to be about our midfield. As predicted, they wilted under pressure. Clean them out.

I'm not sure whether you have a tagger, but tagging Merrett, which isn't that difficult to do, would have been a good idea.

We've been philosophically opposed to tagging since Campo arrived at the club in 2011. Not possible unfortunately so not much we can do if an opposition midfielder ever gets hot in a game.

Tex is treacle slow but fortunately he’s also unable to compete in any meaningful way in an aerial contest. A heady combination.

When it comes down to it he really has been a massive waste of talent and ability save for a few seasons. It's gotten to the point that I wince knowing that he's the captain of this team.

Seeing him lose 90% of contests nowadays is depressing.
