Play both rucks this week. Langford CHF . Wright FF . Both rucks spend time as a FP . Keeps a similar structure .

Given Bryan did reasonably OK against Stanley as the sole ruckman, I’d think bringing in Phillips for Weideman would keep a similar structure.

Phillips is also generally good for throwing his weight around in a way Weideman doesn’t.

Scott wanted to give Weideman time and confidence but it’s pretty dire.

Agree with Weid, I said the same.

He has the attributes, often works. Wanganeen, Harvey, Jones(blues), just to name a few.

Marvel the ground where CHF can be bypassed to a degree if you win the clearance too.

Sorry that wasn't clear. Yes I was thinking bring in Phillips for Weideman.:)

What should happen -
Out: Parish, Lav (inj), Weideman
In: Tsatas, Baldwin, Cox

What will happen -
Out: Bryan (omitted), Parish
In: Phillips, Shiel
Promoted to vice captain: Weideman

Weideman seems to be the new Phillips.
Weeds for Laverde or he makes the perfect sub.

Brad’s presser seemed to indicate that Weideman may get a spell in the 2’s.

Phillips in for Weideman.

Also think that Stringer is carrying an injury so we may see him managed and someone else in (Cox, Davey, Tsatas?).

Wouldn’t be opposed to Hind playing in the starting 22 - maybe at the expense of Kelly for this week’s game?

post 24hrs, still somewhat over-reactive changes;

Hepp -> Cox
McGrath -> Hind (McGrath can go work on his kicking and get it to standard)
Weideman -> Tsatas
Snelling -> Davey
Tippa to sub
Laverde -> Baldwin. Injuries v. Geelong aren't worth dicing with.

Ridley - Baldwin - Kelly
Redman - Zerk - Cox
Martin - Hobbs - Durham
Perkins - Langford - Menzie
Guelfi - Wright - Stringer
Bryan - Parish - Merrett
Caldwell - Tsatas - Hind - Davey
Tippa

Having the best tall mid in the comp against us isn't ideal, but will be interesting to see if Perkins gets another head to head role.
Keen to also see how Brad responds. Was quite the reality check.

That is the dumbest thought you've ever posted.

Don't have much time for the Dogs, but they have quite the hold on us. We have a nice run of games after this, so would be a great kick start to the last 1/4 of the season. Genuine 50/50, but Dogs with history on their side. We need 'something' new, maybe a debut (Tsatas), or a return (Cox, Davey)?

In: Baldwin, Cox, Tippa and Davey.
Out: Laverde(inj), Stringer (possibly inj?),Weidemann and Snelling.

Sub: Tex

I'd like Bryan to ruck against English, I think it would be a good experience but I won't be surprised if he gets dropped for Phillips.

For me:

In: Baldwin. Phillips
Out: Lav, Weid

Sub: Hind

Tex, Cox, Tsatas, Tippa and Davey to get a chance in remaining rounds.
