I can see it, lions kick the first, we kick the equaliser, they kick the next 3 and we will be 1-2 goals down all match with a brief stint in the lead.

Yep same for me. All the tools as you say and a very good set shot. HH has said in the past he is not surprised at some
of the dumb things Dooogs does on field imo this is reflected as a KPD in his short nervous kicking and penchant to punch
instead of marking. Release him Ken and let's see what and why we recruited this CHF athletic phenomenon.

As to whether we win I genuinely don't know. If Polly hadn't marked on the goaline at the death last year they'd have beaten us.
They played a vastly more attractive game that that day and frankly were unlucky to lose.
Yep it's a 50/50 game for us but I reckon we'll get over the line thanks to Scotty Lycett and our other newbies.

So all up my day starts with the
1:12 train to Alberton, then plonk myself down for the Gabba game followed by Norwich City v QPR
Tipping a trifecta of the Maggies, Port and the Canaries. :D
Can you refresh my memory?
Didn't the Lions score about 4 goals in the last minutes of the game, a tribute to our numerous fadeouts?
If that is so, then it puts a slightly different complexion on the game.

Sheesh your stretching my memory bank but you might be right. It was certainly touch n go at the end.
I remember leaving the ground thinking farken hell we won, why do I feel empty.

To be fair to your memory Byrons that feeling of leaving thinking farken hell we won why do I feel empty could possibly describe any game since 2015.

im actually pretty confident, i think if Brisbane win then they are gonna have to play out of their skins, but personally i think we will get the job done

Hopefully we learnt a bit from the slippery conditions last week and adapt our game style accordingly. Don't overuse the ball too much and don't let them get a jump on us and we should be fine.

Port by 11 points.

Should be a great game. Curry on slow cook and a bottle of red to be cracked.

Here is for Dhursma running more than the 17.4kms he did last week, Scullys record is going to fall.

Yeeeeeeeeewww.

I see no reason we can't win this by 4+ goals, but we have a habit of doing these things.

Still, I'm feeling more confident than most by the sound of it.

C'mon QPR !!!

Scotty Thompson was on Dead Set Morons on the eMs this morning. They said they were expecting it to be slippery and dewy for the game, but it was bone dry during last nights training run at the Gabba that was conducted around game time.
