Cracked the first bevvy, mate picking us up in 45 to have a couple pregame looseners then heading in to the Australian for a couple more of the same, should have my whistle nice and wet by the time the game is on. Usually sit in the brions members but also got the member ticket from the club. Any other peeps sitting in section 13? Is it any good?

A good start would be nice.....

Hopefully the conditions suit the Gray inclusion.

If we turn up we will win. Just.

Lions by a few goals, but if we win it'll be because we won the battle in the middle. Lose the clearances and we're in trouble.

I’m of the unpopular opinion that our forward entries and goal scoring are still poor, and that the wins against Melbourne and Carlton were actually not that great.

Meanwhile I think Brisbane have been impressive.

But I also reckon we haven’t seen the best of us yet and that we are due to produce a much bigger performance tonight.

It will make a big difference tonight if Westhoff, Ryder and Robbie Gray can all play at or near their best in our forward line. Westhoff to resume his marking and goal-kicking form from round 1. Gray to find separation from his opponents and be more clinical with his finishing. Ryder to get more involved in leading up to the ball, and rising high to take marks ahead of his defenders. If these three have big ones, then I'm confident adequate support will come from Ebert, Motlop, SPP, Sam Gray, Rozee and Butters, and we'll kick a much bigger score than our back-to-back returns of 87 points.

I also am looking forward to seeing a midfield of Duursma and Drew on the wings and Wines, Boak and Rockliff under Lycett's tapwork in the centre-square.

Carn Port.

If anyone can carve us up it's C. Cameron. We don't handle these nippy small forward well. Gotta win the midfield battle and play it in our half as much as possible. Take shots where you can get them instead of trying to hit up impossible targets. I'm looking at you Ryder.

Westhoff needs to lift this week.

At least we're having pings at the sticks. Not like when players are within range ****ing with it and trying to find a better more 'perfect' option instead of just backing themselves in and giving it a roost.

Hoping Brisbane have been drinking the bathwater.

We should really be in this game in terms of the midfield battle but I'm a tad worried how Wines fits back in he won't be match fit etc. I don't want it throwing the others out of whack.
